I was using the Micro Studio Camera to show the Sony Ex-3 operation while I was controlling it. Sam Cole wrote:So are you controlling the actual Sony Ex-3 or the Micro Studio Camera? Seems it doesn't like the return feed from the Camera converter I ran a coax but I am going to let BMD know about it at some stage. It fully works in the setup shown but I had to do a sneaky little work around. Incidentally, I mentioned in the above video a problem I was having with the Micro Studio Camera. ![]() There is also big things happening with the B4 lenses but more on that later. I will also do a Sony camera LAN MCU interface. , XDCAMs, etc) WITHOUT the use of the CNA-1. Soon I will also have an interface for controlling the 8 pin remote camera's (EX-3. This version will save on the number of ATEM 'sockets' that are in use as the ATEM has a limit, depending on the ATEM Model. I am currently finishing off a FOUR camera interface using 4 CNA-1's and a single network connector to the ATEM. In this video I am using a single interface to control a single camera via a single CNA-1 using a single network connector to the ATEM. and more using direct connect via the 4xCCU controller. Using the ATEM CCU software control panel, including any 3rd party dedicated controller (as well as my own 4xCCU Controller), you can control the following functions on all Sony camera's that support their MCU LAN interface AND the 8pin remote connector. Although rather messy, amid the calamity there is a Sony PMW EX-3 being controlled by an ATEM production switcher via a Sony Camera Network Adaptor (CNA-1).
